10 on 10 – January | Adelaide Photographer

So, this year to keep me busy I’m doing a project with 15 other photographers called “10-on-10.” The principle is that on the 10th of every month, each photographer will post 10 photos of life over the past month or a particular subject – 10 photos that represent us and make us use our cameras outside of sessions and weddings etc. I’m excited to be using my camera in my everyday life (my husband not so much… he doesn’t like me taking photos of him πŸ˜‰ ). So here’s my first 10 on 10. Enjoy. xx

This is our puppy Archie. He’s not quite six months and the cutest thing ever! He has the cheekiest personality yet is so loyal and affectionate. I love him a lot. He keeps me company on the long days Ben’s at work.

This is my wonderful husband, Ben. He’s strong, loyal, loving and kind. I love him a lot! He hates his photo taken, so don’t be surprised if he doesn’t feature here often… But I’ll try. πŸ˜‰ He is so supportive of what I do and I’m so thankful that he encourages me to pursue my passion of photography wholeheartedly. As I write this we’re about to head off to Melbourne for the weekend for my Christmas present.. we’re staying in a nice hotel with a city view and off to do coffee (the next thing you’ll see) and shopping! I’m excited. πŸ˜€

This is my other love: coffee. I love it more than words can describe. I love its gorgeous aroma, the smell of beans both before and after they’ve been ground – and the gorgeous way the crema sits in a cup. And runs down the sides of it, too. It’s a beautiful, beautiful thing.

And THIS represents the awfully hot days we’ve been having here – as much as I love coffee, it’s been so hot and sometimes a whole lotta icecream, milk and crema is a much better idea than a cappuccino. <3

And finally – this is where we spent New Years. It’s in a district called Avenue Range in the South East of SA. The caravan is my family’s and they go hunting nearby. It’s gorgeous and even though it pelted down with rain (hence the caravan… the original plan was to go camping in tents and swags eek!), it was so calming and peaceful. And the STARS! They were incredible. And Archie loved running around free, too. πŸ˜‰

So, there you go. That’s January’s 10 on 10. I know it’s a bit unconventional this time, but I wanted to introduce a bit about me and my life. Next time I’ll pick an outing or something or you might even get to see a bit of our trip to Melbourne we’re about to leave on!

And now that I’m done – head on over to Love Bee Photography to see her post on A Day In The LifeΒ and then follow the blog circle around! Don’t forget to leave them some love.Β <3 xxx

PS. Note that due to time differences between different countries (we’re all over the world), some posts may not be up yet.
